QUOTE
ANCHORAGE, Alaska - Anderson, a little town in Alaska's interior, has no gas station, no grocery store and no traffic lights, but it does have plenty of woodsy land — and it's free to anyone willing to put down roots in the often-frozen ground.

Sounds like a little slice of heaven to me. Too bad it's only 1.3 acres.

Won't sound like heaven if all the Californians gobble those pieces up.

Dang, if they were offering real property, I'd be interested. But 1.3 acres in a subdivision sounds like hell to me, even if it is in Alaska.

If I didn't have a wife and kids I'd take it.
